for Land Rover Discovery Sport Diesel 2.2L

This is a motorised throttle valve body for the Land Rover Discovery Sport L550 Diesel.

This is a motorised "butterfly" valve that is driven by a motor that drives some gears to close and open the "flap".

The problem is that the gears are plastic and they wear out leading to a strange squealing noise that is most noticeable immediately after your turn off the engine - see below video.

This is a good quality aftermarket part that can be used as an alternative to Land Rover part number LR012598.

This is not a genuine Land Rover item.

Which vehicles will this fit?

This item WILL fit the Land Rover Discovery Sport 2.2L engine Diesel models from 2015 onwards.

This item WILL NOT fit the Land Rover Discovery Sport Petrol models.

This item WILL NOT fit any other litre diesel model of the Land Rover Discovery Sport.
